Namibia Day 10: Twyfelfontein

Organ Pipes - near Twyfelfontein, Namibia

We did a bit of driving around the Twyfelfontein area on day 10. We stopped briefly at the Organ Pipes and at Burnt Mountian. The Organ Pipes were pretty cool, though not as big as I had expected them to be. We weren't overly impressed with Burnt Mountain(in fact I didn't even take a photograph) I don't know if we ended up there at the wrong time of day or what... We did drive quite a bit hoping to see desert elephants or rhinos but no luck there.

In the late afternoon I mostly wandered around the Twyfelfontein Country Lodge area and photographed the plants and animals.

It was mostly a relaxing day which was kind of nice. If I had the trip to do over I would've only spent one night in Twyfelfontein instead of two. I would've been happy to spend another day at Fish River Canyon, or Sesreim instead.
