I created this abstract water photograph at Yellowstone National Park. The algae in these warm waters gave it this beautiful milky blue glow. I find that the slightly silky texture of the water is an interesting contrast to the rough textured surroundings. My favorite part of the photograph is the raindrops hitting the far side of the water - adding a slightly surreal feeling to the photograph. For me, they add an element of serendipity to the photograph, an element and moment that can never duplicated.
