Hidden Forest Islands

Low lying clouds frame these two forest islands and also give them a mysterious vibe. The islands are hidden from above and from behind by that glacier-carved mountain. They are only visible as you sail near them from this side. Surrounded by sparkling waters they take on a magical feeling. Imagine stopping on one of these hidden forest islands – and sitting back to enjoy the clouds and the day as they pass by.

These two small islands captured my attention because they appeared to be a matching set. The low-lying cloud cover that caught the morning sun also intrigued me. Composing the photograph with the mountain behind it allowed me to silhouette them between the sparkling waters and the soft light streaming down through the clouds.
